ErinoakKids Autism Services provides innovative, high quality services to children with autism, in partnership with their families and the community, to maximize their potential and to promote their inclusion in society.
We work in collaboration with families and service providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children through early intervention, adhering to the highest standards, consistent with the principles of applied behaviour analysis.

What Services Do We Offer?

ErinoakKids Autism Services provides Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) for children who have a diagnosis of autism, and who live in the Central West Region of Ontario (Dufferin, Halton, Peel, Waterloo or Wellington).
  1. IBI - Intensive Behavioural Intervention:
    IBI therapists work with the children either one-to-one or in small groups. Each child receives individualized therapy with clearly defined strategies and goals. IBI is a form of teaching - it teaches a child with autism to reach out and interact with the world.
  2. Connections for Students
    Connections for Students is a collaborative initiative between The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS). It focuses on supporting seamless transitions for students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) who will be transitioning from Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) programs into publicly funded schools.
  3. Autism Services Resource Centre:
    Families registered with ErinoakKids Autism Services can visit their local Family Resource Centre.
